30 Minute French or Spanish

Wouldn’t it be great if your child could speak a foreign language?  Younger children have the capacity to pick up languages fast, and will usually learn faster than adults.

30 Minute French or Spanish is a new and innovative way to get young people learning a modern language – an important life skill.

The tutor teaches the 30 Minute French or Spanish programme in such an engaging way that your children will find themselves looking forward to the class!

At £15 for a 30 minute online session, your child will learn how to use a foreign language in their daily life. Jess is a very popular tutor who will adapt her teaching styles to suit your child where necessary.

You can buy as many lessons as you’d like, or just one at a time.

Once we receive your order, one of the office team will contact you to arrange a time & date.  Let us know if it is French or Spanish you would like your child to learn.

I have a BA in Modern Languages and I am offering tutoring for Spanish and Italian, plus Primary French. I studied both languages at Cardiff University and spent a fantastic year abroad for ERASMUS split between Parma and Granada.

Both semesters gave me incredible experiences, allowed me to immerse myself in the cultures and really hone my language skills. I worked as a language teacher in Spain and love sharing my passion for languages and culture with others!

During the final part of my ERASMUS semester I worked for a translation company in Granada, teaching English B1 level to adolescents and adults in preparation for the Cambridge English exams. I then returned to Granada after graduating and resumed this post, teaching up to C2 level English, both one on one and in group sessions. This gave me fantastic experience in teaching a range of levels to students with varying abilities, allowing me to tailor my approach depending on the learning styles of each student.

Since moving back to the UK, I have been teaching conversational and written Spanish to adults, offering private classes for beginners – more advanced.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, there is no minimum booking requirement. 

However, we would recommend a minimum of 8 lessons to begin to see a real difference in your child’s ability.

We will contact you after the first lesson to see how everything went for you and your child.  If you have any doubts or concerns at all, this is your opportunity to tell us.  It is very rare that a child does not get on with a tutor, but if this is the case we will offer you another suitable tutor.  We currently have 70 tutors on our books from which to choose.

The short answer here is ‘yes’.  When we began to work online with younger children during the lockdown we were unsure how they would manage, but they are brilliant online.  As younger children are adaptable and very quick to learn new things, they have proven to be more adept and more natural online than many older children and adults.
