It is exciting to be planning your university career. You may have decided on your target universities or still be considering your choices, but either way entrance into the best universities is highly competitive.
One way to ensure success is to do the EPQ to increase your UCAS points. This will increase your chances of attending your university of choice.
ABOUT THE EPQ
The EPQ is worth up to 28 UCAS points. This qualification is therefore very valuable in a competitive university entrance market.
The EPQ is a single piece of work that requires a high degree of planning, preparation, research and autonomous working. It can be completed as either a 5,000 word dissertation, an artefact, or performance accompanied by a 1,000 word report.
The EPQ is a standalone qualification and is often taken by students to in addition to their A level studies. Around 30,000 students take an EPQ each year.
The EPQ is delivered by our trained and registered Assessors, and moderated by our Internal Moderators. It has 30 hours of supervision/guidance whilst the research is carried out by the student.
